For the safety and the hygienic of your child, we recommend you to replace the pacifiers within a periode of 4 until 6 weeks. If there is any damage markable on the pacifier, for instance because of biting, you have to replace the pacifier. We can also recommand you to control the pacifier before every use. It is also important that you control your pacifier on cracks, you can pull it in different ways to check that.
The butterfly shape allows enough air circulation under the shield to prevent skin irritation. The pacifier is reversible because of it's symmetric shape and it's cherry shape. The circular shield is asymmetric and will therefore be a dental pacifier.
The holes in the shield serve as an additional security for your child. When your baby is still managing to take the shield completely in the mouth, there is never a danger. Your child will always get enough air through these holes. Therefore, you should never attach anything in these two openings!
If you use our pacifiers the first time, we recommend to cook the pacifier for four minutes. In the first eight weeks, we recommend you to daily cook the pacifier for about 3 minutes in a pan with boiling water. After eight weeks, you have to do this proces 2 times a week. Make sure that there is no water left in the pacifier, you have to press the pacifier so that all the water comes out. You can also use a magnetron or a steam sterilisator to save time.
Bisphenol A is a chemical that is mainly used in the production of polycarbonate plastics. Polycarbonate is used for baby bottles so their is only a small chance that things will break and crack.
A product can only be regarded as a BPA-free, when there is no BPA present in the components of the product, or the food or liquid that is eaten or drunk by the baby.

The personalization of the pacifiers happens with a laser machine. The surface that needs to be personalized, will be burned during a short period. With this method we avoid an imprint, in that way there are no harmful pieces in the mouth of your child.
When there wouldn't be a hole in the pacifier nipple, the silicone part would remain hard and will not have an anatomical function. Because of the valve it can be possible that water comes in while you are cooking it. This is absolutely no problem, the water is sterilized and can be easily pushed out after cooling the pacifier. Watch out, there is not always a hole visible in the pacifier nipple. A few pacifiers are designed to lose air using the holes in the shield.
The pacifiers with rings will be provided during the day time, these rings are designed to attach pacifier ropes. A pacifier rope prevents the pacifier from falling on the ground and is also very hygenic.
The pacifiers without a ring have a round button and are designed to wear at night,to make sure that your child will not hurt himself.
Dummies help your baby getting into sleep and calming them down. Because the pacifier nipple is very soft, there is less pressur on the jaws when your baby sucks on it.
A pacifier has a costumized size and shape.

The effects of pacifier sucking can be psychological and physical. When your infant sucks on there thumb at an older age, other children could laugh at him. When your infant sucks his thumb very often, this can have an influence on the jaws growth, but also on the teeth and the speech. Children who suck there thumbs on a later age are more likely to have to wear a brace. When you use a pacifier there is less pressure on the jaw, the roof of the mouth, and the teeth.
Most of the deformations of the teeth are due to a suck movement.
A pacifier calms down a child. It is recommended to stop giving your infant pacifiers at the age of 3 years. Because of this, the teeth have enough time to recover and using a pacifier wil have no influence on the shape of the set of the teeth. When you stop later, the chance on a abnormality is much higher.
The pacifiers and the shields have a different size that will be indicated with guideluines for the ages. It is important that your child the first months the the smallest size has. At the age of 6 months, you can switch to a bigger size, because the shields will get bigger. If you don't do this, it can happen that your kid the pacifier in her mouth puts.
When you have found a suitable pacifier, your baby will get attached on the shape of the chosen pacifier. It is important to keep that into account.
Do not drop your pacifiers in sugary liquids, this may cause tooth decay.
First, limit pacifier usage inside the house, then only to sleep time, then only to overnight. Try restricting pacifier usage more and more, until the need is gone. Another method we sugest: is only allowing pacifier usage on special occasions. For example when your infant is sad, not feeling well.
